Getting prepared for the event at Prescott Farm

Aquidneckhoney products

All of the hives could not fit into the photo

Checking on the ladies and wondering how to approach this days event

As the 1st crowd arrives, I think I will talk about the importance of honeybees and chemical free beekeeping

After a little introduction and questions, we opened up several hives...

...it was this big, really. This must bee the Italian in my...or something.

everyone seemed very interested

I think I heard someone say, "That's Honey"!?

Quiz this afternoon...

Unfortunately, no, you cannot take that home. We do have honey in comb and liquid for sale though...

blah, blah, blah...

2nd crowd has arrived...lots of questions which I really enjoy

Passing around some visual aide, guess who did not touch them?

Care for some honey? Honey?

Say hello to Abby, she is very interested in what her friend has...

I am always surprised (and more) when I see photos of myself. I look like I am auditioning for dancing with the bees...or something...

I see wheels spinning Abby...what are you thinking?

Oh, yeah sure, lets suite you up and come check out the bees with me...

I think the day was a great success. We demonstrated our beekeeping practice and values to more than 50 people today, and one couple was from Russia and Portugal. Thank You to Janna, for spending some more time in and around the hives with her camera! We do this for all of you, thank you for reading...Jeff the bee man.
